New York, NY. . . RD Weis has signed a joint venture agreement with Facility Management World Wide Ltd, a WBE (woman-owned business enterprise). Founder Carol Farren has substantial experience, specializing in facilities-related consulting, and will bring her expertise to RD Weis in helping facilities managers run efficient, clean buildings.

Carol E. Farren, CMC, CFM, IFMA Fellow, is president of Facility Management World Wide Ltd. (FMWW), a management consulting firm specializing in corporate facility management (FM), real estate planning, and operations management. The firm’s services include project management as the Owner’s Representative as well as many other specialized services such as: strategic planning; lease negotiation; construction management; relocation management; performing operations analysis and reviews of facilities and administration departments; developing master maintenance plans; developing facilities and administrative outsourcing costs and recommendations; energy management, analyzing building operations processes and recommending alternative methods; developing disaster prevention plans; writing FM policies and procedures; FM training, developing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and developing integrated workplace management systems (IWMS).

A recognized international FM expert, Ms. Farren has been active in the field for over 40 years. She is an advocate for sustainable facilities and green building design and is currently a member of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), IFMA, the International Facility Management Association, and Professional Women in Construction (PWC).
