Use an Experienced Team and a Process That’s Most Effective Against the Spread of COVID-19

Reopening Requires Rethinking

RD Weis is committed to assisting facilities in creating an ongoing, proactive disinfection plan to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment, free of COVID-19.

Our Circle of Health Disinfection and Sanitization Program is a holistic plan that consists of a wall-to-wall disinfection, carpet care, panel and upholstery sanitization, and bathroom tile and grout restoration to be completed prior to reopening and on a regular basis to ensure maximum protection for your staff.

While there are hundreds of products out there claiming to be effective against the coronavirus, the products used should be hospital grade disinfectants listed on the EPA “N” list, that meet the CDC and EPA efficacy requirement against COVID-19, that is, they kill 99.999% of bacteria and viruses on contact and are safe in all environments and on all surfaces.

Disinfection

Electrostatic spraying and fogging for disinfection is a simple, yet effective solution. This method uses a compressor to deliver an accurate amount of chemistry to non-porous surfaces for the proper dwell time. Targeted disinfection should cover every inch of your space including Desks, Partitions, Phones, Computers, Cafeteria and Kitchen Areas. Elevator Controls, and Lobby entrances.

Carpet Care

An EPA Safer Choice product is applied to the carpet. Once it dries, the carpet is vacuumed, removing dirt, germs, and odor sources leaving the fibers clean, dry, and odor-free.

Panels and Upholstery

Sanitization of your panels and upholstery is needed to ensure your facility and employees stay clean, healthy and free from airborne pathogens using a specialized very low moisture extraction.

Tile and Grout

In addition to targeted disinfection on those surfaces that an infected person would touch in bathrooms, especially faucets, toilet seats, toilet partitions, towel and toilet paper dispensers, your tile and grout should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

There are many issues that need to be addressed prior to reopening during this uncertain time. RD Weis is here to help you return to a healthy building. Please contact us to learn more or schedule professional disinfection treatments for your facilities.

Complete disinfection of your facility or workspace requires steps to ensure your environment is clean – and virus-free.

Our professional-grade disinfection solution meets the CDC/EPA efficacy requirement against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and is effective for corporate office spaces, transportation centers, retail environments, and hospital/medical facilities.

Traditionally, disinfecting occurs by wiping surfaces with an infused cloth that is only mildly effective in getting complete coverage of an area, and this runs the risk of cross contamination. Fogging in and by itself is effective in killing most viruses, especially COVID-19.

Take no shortcuts and rely on a professional, qualified team. RD Weis leads the way with 10-plus years of experience in disinfection. We have the Chemistry, Equipment & Protective Gear to handle the demand. Supplies of all types face availability challenges. However, we currently have adequate supplies of qualified disinfecting solutions and labor resources to meet customer disinfection needs.

RD Weis Disinfection Process – Things to Know

What is the most effective way to disinfect: wiping or fogging?
Cleaning is required before disinfecting in order to remove dirt, debris and dust because inorganic and organic materials that remain on surfaces may interfere with the effectiveness of disinfection. But simply wiping down your space is not enough to rid your environment of COVID-19. A professional atomizer fog application is necessary to reach every surface area to kill 99.999% of bacteria.

What products do we use?
We use EPA-registered products that kill all viruses on contact

What is the process?

  • Surfaces are pre-cleaned and then disinfectant is applied
  • The spray needs to sit for ten minutes to kill the virus
  • Spraying gets better coverage than wiping. It puts out more product in a larger area
  • If a surface is still wet, we will wipe it

How long does it take?
This depends on the size of the space, but the average production rate for a technician equipped with one fogging machine is 4,000 square feet per man hour

Is it safe?

  • Our products are safe around people, pets, plants and food
  • Products are safe for all environments, including corporate offices, hospitality, restaurants, retail and schools

How soon can you return to work?
Almost immediately

In which type of environment is this effective?
Schools, healthcare facilities, corporate offices, airports and transportation centers, restaurants, retail establishments, gyms, museums, conference centers, utility companies, EMS facilities, etc.

Don’t wait! Protect your customers and employees.
