In 2019, Riverside Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan needed work on the various sports and recreation amenities located throughout the park. The RD Weis PASS team was called on to install a variety of flooring, relying on their extensive skills, experience and knowledge to handle these multiple projects and varied applications:
- Installation of the exercise room using Ecore ECOsmash rubber tiles.
- Back of house area and locker rooms required LVT and carpet.
- Padding installed for the park’s dog run.
- Installation of the tennis courts with DecoTurf.
- The basketball courts were installed with Maplewood sports flooring from Connor sports.
- Genesis Turf was installed for the Athletic Field.
- Padding was installed at the bottom of the rock climbing wall.
- Installation of floor base at the skateboard park.
RD Weis and the PASS team successfully fulfilled this extensive wish list by Christmas 2019.
