A small look of over 22k ft2 of terrazzo in a school we polished in NY. The school had not been stripped of its floor finish in over 12 years! The staff tried over the years to keep up, but it was way too much to even consider stripping. Worn, dull and ambered, it was time to do the right thing. We took care of the stripping and mechanically polished the beautiful terrazzo back to its original glory. After we finished, we left the staff with a maintenance plan to keep the floor looking its best. Happy to report they are following the plan and enjoying the ease of caring for their beautiful terrazzo floors.

We were busy this summer, prepping schools for the new semester. We completed a library carpet replacement project at a prestigious private day school in New Haven, CT. With numerous schools on our list, time was of the essence, but we always manage to finish before the new school year kicks off!
The same school in New Haven that trusted us with their library refresh also had us replace the flooring in 2 other buildings at the same time. Good thing we have a great team of excellent installers!

This terrazzo floor is over 100 years old and has gone through so much that’s dulled its natural beauty. Anchors had been shot into it for wall partition, different flooring types had been installed over it and removed, etc. Our hard surface specialist Peter Criscione gave a careful “read” and delivered the great news that the beautiful polished floor they wanted was very much possible, illustrating what it would look like with a demo.
